The Hull / Lincoln graticule is at latitude 53, longitude -0. It contains Hull, Scunthorpe, Grimsby, and the Humber estuary; and heads south to Lincoln and Newark.
For whatever reason, Google Maps has decided not to label Hull, or "Kingston upon Hull" as it is officially named, on the zoomed-out map.
Previous Geohashes
- 2010-09-04 - Sourcerer visited four hash points on this day. This one was in a sweet corn field just north west of Sibsey, Boston, Lincolnshire, UK. The others were in the Skegness, Cambridge and Norwich graticules.
- 2010-04-10 - Bluecont and friend David claim the first succesful geohash in this graticule - with a remarkably trouble free journey.
- 2009-12-24 - Scruffy Bumblebee, Ravenugru and Stone wolf got within 60m of the hashpoint on a snowy Boxing Day geohash
