This is 245 metres from 2011-06-29 52 1 when the coordinates were not reached. This location looks easier. Named storm, "Barney", is passing tonight with predictions of fallen trees and power cuts so I'm not going to attempt a midnight expedition. My ETA is now about 13:00.

Expedition

In drizzle and still air, my arrival time was noon plus 34 minutes. There was space to park outside the Granary Stores beside Malthouse Broad. There was a walk on a public footpath followed by a 90 metre mini-trespass in a grassy meadow, free of animals. The predicted strong winds are expected in about four hours so my decision to go early may prove to have been wise.

On this day Norwich, United Kingdom attempted expedition number 148 in the year 2015. This equals the Atlanta, Georgia all-time record for 2009.
