My research predicted pine woods. In fact the hashpoint zone had been cleared and hundreds of foxglove flowers had germinated. There will be a fine display next summer. The hashpoint was close to a military danger area but luckily it fell on the safe side of the boundary. From the road it was about 1.4 km. The weather was sunny and warm by December standards. Hashdog Lyla is getting old and she no longer likes new walks. After a few metres she refused to go on so I left her in the car.
