Expedition

It was a damp evening and the daylight was fading fast. The footpath ran between two drainage dykes and it was unusually quiet. Sometimes the layers of atmospheric humidity and warmth refract sounds over great distances. Tonight the opposite conditions were in place giving a creepy atmosphere. There was even a van parked near the hashpoint looking as if Scooby-Doo might appear at any moment. Rikes! Scary! Then I saw the monster. There were four brilliant lights and a multi-legged mystery creature back-lit in silhouette. It got closer and closer until ... it was a cow being driven along the lane by two farmer's pick-up trucks. We passed without incident.

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay! Geohash Droid is working again! The problem must have been server-side! I found out on my return journey and was about 45 metres from the hashpoint when I uploaded the evidence photo.
