Plans
Try to wake up "early" and grab my bike between 09:00 and 10:00 (Yes, I am a student). Expect to arrive to the hashpoint in a couple of hours.
Expedition
Hurray! This is my first hashpoint achieved. I learned about Geohashing a month ago and since then I have been monitoring the geohashes in my area. But having only my bike as transport and living in a graticule with lots of water, it was more difficult than expected. But today was the day.
I managed to grab my bike at 09:30 and calculated I would arrive at the hash in a couple of hours. So I start my way. The day was not as sunny as yesterday, which was beautiful, but living in north Germany at least it was not raining ;) I was also not so cold, so a good day to ride my bike, Winterbuche.
I went toward Gribenow, where there is a beautiful Schloss, and then directly on to Groß Bisdorf, the nearest town to the hashpoint. And there the excitement began. Finally arriving at my first hashpoint at exactly 12 o'clock. Checked with my GPS and yes, there I was. Made some pictures as proof and to share them with you, and... well I moved on.
Now I had time to find some geocaches and find my way back home. So this is how it begins. Let's hope more hashpoints are coming in the near future!
