Expedition
From Hannover, I took the train to the castle station of Herzberg am Harz via Kreiensen and Seesen. From there, I walked the rest of the distance to Hörden am Harz. It was hilly terrain, and I had a nice view. Along the path there was a tree stand from where the view was even better.
Eventually, I got close to Hörden and approached the site of the Geohash. According to Google Maps it was supposed to be right on the end of a path between two fields. I would lie if I would say that I trusted Google on this one, but the first few meters actually were a path. The last few meters were not though. First there were trees and bushes, and then it was just the border between two fields. I located the coordinates there and recorded proof.
Afterwards, I went into Hörden to look around and search for a postcard. The café was closed until Easter, and the bakery (which had postcards, I could see them through the window) was closed because it is a Monday. Oh well, I'll get one in Herzberg. On the way back to Herzberg I took a small detour to see Herzberg's castle (which today is a court). The building also has a museum and a café, but both are closed on Mondays.
In downtown Herzberg, I also was unable to find a postcard, so no hashcard for this one. At the train station, I noticed that the square is called Esperanto Square and Herzberg is called the Esperanto City. There even were some bilingual signs. When the train arrived, I took it back to Hannover via Northeim.
