In the afternoon, I took the train via Sande to Jever and cycled the rest of the distance.

Soon after I left the train, it started to rain a bit, but stopped after a while. The coordinates were on the edge of a meadow. A friendly cow came to greet me, but soon lost interest in the guy staring at his phone. While I located the coordinates and recorded proof, it started to rain again, this time heavily and including hailstones. That impacted my ability to take good photos, but I got some.

Afterwards, I cycled back to the station in Jever. The train already was there, I quickly pressed the button on the door, but it was too late: Seconds later the train to Sande left, and the next one would only come an hour later. That did not make me happy. At least the rain had stopped for now, so that was nice.

Rather than sit at the station in Jever being cold in my wet clothes, I preferred to keep comparatively warm by cycling to Sande, since that trip takes less than an hour. By the time I arrived in Sande, my clothes gotten a bit drier already, but were still pretty wet. From Sande, I took a direct train back home to Osnabrück.
