After university, Daniel and I plan to get the bus back to my house before driving to the geohash point. We will then drive to Daniel's house to drop him off before I return home. There seems to be a free public car park near the point so this expedition should not be difficult in that area. This expedition will earn a new graticule for both me and Daniel. We should arrive at the point at around 2:45pm. This expedition took place before Daniel's account creation.

As planned, Daniel and I got my usual bus back to my house with no hassle. We went inside to get food and drinks as well as a picnic blanket with the aim of achieving the picnic achievement. We didn't stay for long and quickly got into the car to begin our journey. It had begun to rain lightly on our short trip back to my house, and we were both hoping that wouldn't continue for the sake of our picnic plans. We first went to get fuel as our total journey distance was greater than the amount in the car, before setting off towards the point.
The journey was decently long, so with an hour of driving and (in my opinion) excellent music ahead, Daniel began a game of 20 questions. I got his answer in 15 questions, he barely missed mine with his final guess being incredibly close. I missed the turn into the parking section and had to turn back around to go down the lane. It was not a great road surface, but slowly and steadily we reached the car park. The car park was a small patch of ground with space for two, maybe three, total cars. Nobody else was there though, so we parked and got everything to bring to the point with us. The rain had completely cleared by this point and the sun was shining very nicely through the trees.
The walk to the point was enjoyable and was along a designated dirt path, but it was very short (2 minutes). We reached it without issues and took photos of the area and its surroundings before setting up our picnic blanket. I took a photo of Daniel for the picnic achievement, took a Bereal photo on my account, and sat down to enjoy the area and our picnic. We sat there for a while continuing our game, packing everything up after about 25 minutes and getting back into the car.
I drove Daniel back home with minor delays due to a crash on the motorway, before returning home in time for dinner and a tennis match at 7pm.
Briefly, I had planned to show support for the suggestion of a Holiday achievement at Talk:Towel Day achievement. In doing so, I looked up the national day for the 20th of February and saw that it was National Penguin Awareness Day. For this, I wore clothes that had a vague resemblance to the colouring of a penguin. It wasn't until the night before the expedition that I realised that National Penguin Awareness Day was on the 20th of January and that I had misread the month. Despite this, I wore my penguin-themed clothes to the hash, but these are now mostly irrelevant to the achievement. It did happen to be National Student Volunteer Day, which I am part of, but I don't think my mere existence at the geohash is a good representation of the spirit of the suggested achievement.
