In the morning, I took the train to Cloppenburg and cycled the rest of the distance via Thülsfelde.
The coordinates were in a forest, I was able to locate them and record proof. Near the coordinates I found three holes which each marked by barrier tape arouns their surrounding trees. My first association were open graves, but they would be to narrow for that. SastRe.O later identified them as likely being for a geological study to observe different layers of the soil, which put my mind to rest.
On the way back to Cloppenburg, I cycled via Molbergen and took the train back to Osnabrück from there.
