Retro Geohashes

Suggested Alternate Location
Today, I saw that somebody suggested an alternate location for the London West hash, in downtown London. I'm just wondering- is anybody actually going to be at the alternate location, and if so, when? It's fairly accessible from my location, and I'd gladly meet up with some geohashers, but I'd rather not wait around for a meet-up that may not occur, especially when it's not an actual hashpoint. -Haberdasher 07:21, 8 September 2012 (EDT)
- I have no idea who created the alternative location (it wasn't me!) but ISTR it is moderately easy to do by accident by clicking (& dragging?) on the map in the wrong way. In the absence of any expedition page or discussion on the wiki, I'd suggest that you may be wasting your time by turning up. BICBW. — Benjw {talk} 08:51, 8 September 2012 (EDT)

2018-08-13 Meetup
The location for Monday the 13th of August for this graticule is in Limehouse, East London (and the location for the neighbouring London East graticule is in nearby Canning Town, also in East London).
Due to their being located in built-up areas with excellent transport links, I think either or both of these would be great candidates for a group meetup if anyone would be interested in that? Saxbophone (talk) 19:59, 10 August 2018 (UTC)

It appears to be in the back of a Nespresso store on Sunday. Not really the kind of place I had in mind when visiting hashpoints, but I might be inclined to hop on the bus there to meet other hashers. Not sure I'll have any of that coffee though. Tongs (talk) 21:43, 26 October 2018 (UTC)
