Robyn, Wade and Beth went to Lake Meridian Park, a tenth of a mile from the hash. That was a fine park, despite numerous signs telling us not to do many things, and people cheerfully doing some of them (skateboarding, sitting on railings) anyway. The hashpoint was on private property, visible and photographed from the park. We all looked at it from the park docks, but only Robyn dared walk down the street and knock on the appropriate door to obtain permission to access the actual dock where the hash point lay.

On the way home we discovered a good Thai restaurant called Grandma's, but I don't think I converted the dragalongs to the geohashing cause. I won't count this as a drag-along achievement, because they didn't go all the way. But that's okay, as I got the ambassador achievement out of it, and I only like to log one achievement per hashpoint.

Robyn earned the Ambassador achievement
by obtaining permission to access the (47, -122) geohash on 2008-07-18.
