Again we are still moving house so time is very tight, but if we get a couple of spare minutes we'll shoot up to Woodhill and try our luck. It is a private forest, but they still allow traffic through some of the roads and we might get lucky by getting close to the hash point. Then it will be a quick walk up to spot, bobs your uncle.

So ahhhh, in a mad rush (time was short) we shot up the road towards Woodhill. Its maybe 30mins away. First stop was the most direct road in, but Bradly Rd had a nice gate at the end barring us from moving forward. So with some local cows laughing we spun around and zoomed up to Rimmers Rd which is the main public entrance to Woodhill. It was open! But after about 800m of gravel road we came around a corner and hit another barrier. So knowing it was only a kilometre or so away we had to give up. Our only consolation was the little bit of trash we collected on our stop to snap photos, so it wasn't a complete loss.

Plans

Again we are still moving house so time is very tight, but if we get a couple of spare minutes we'll shoot up to Woodhill and try our luck. It is a private forest, but they still allow traffic through some of the roads and we might get lucky by getting close to the hash point. Then it will be a quick walk up to spot, bob's your uncle.

Expedition

So ahhhh, in a mad rush (time was short) we shot up the road towards Woodhill. It's maybe 30mins away.

So, knowing it was only a kilometre or so away, we had to give up. Our only consolation was the little bit of trash we collected on our stop to snap photos, so it wasn't a complete loss.

Maybe next time!
