Plans

Expedition

Neither the route nor the location looked particularly interesting. It was Saturday, so I checked also the following day. And the Sunday location would have been much more interesting, not to say too interesting. It was on the premises of the Royal family, not the large palace in Madrid which is merely used for representative purposes, but Zarzuela Palace near El Pardo, where they actually live. This is of course an isolated and guarded area, so no way to reach the Sunday geohash.

Therefore, I did go for the Saturday one. The route passed closely by the location of my first mystery tour geohash from expedition 2022-01-10_40_-4. The weather was not too bad, temperature peaking at 12°C, cloudy skies, with the Sun occasionally peeking through. So, it was a nice ride and, as it turned out, a partly challenging hike.
