Expedition

It what seems like forever, I finally have one that's close and accessible. Since I was supporting the Sprint Release this evening for my team, I was able to get out of work a couple hours early and used this time to get to the hash while it was still light out. It was a simple Expedition as it's only a couple blocks from my office and have actually been across the street a couple times at the Colored Musicians Club for Slow Rolls in the past. Nearly a Deja Vu hash, but no way to prove it.

I was able to park a little ways away on Broadway and walked back toward Michigan to easily find the hash on the sidewalk. There's a city depot across the street where they store garbage trucks and get the plows ready for the snow. Today, they have a bunch of plows parked along the street next to the hash. I recall looking up GeoCaches nearby and there was one right around the corner, but for whatever reason I forgot about it. Instead, I walked back to the car and headed to the store to pick up a couple items I needed.

As I was adding the pictures, I realized this could have been a Cubicle Geohash Achievement Honorable Mention, but alas, it was a day where I worked from home and didn't bring my pass to stop by. If it was an office day, I could have walked over too.

I also saw that this has the potential for a Last Man Standing, so I'll keep an eye on that for a while before claiming it.
