Participants

Plans

U-Bahn to Westhafen station, cross canal, walk along canal until the hashpoint, check if it's accessible.

Expedition

As planned. Helpfully the "This is property of the Federal Waterways Authority, no access" sign was also pointing out that "according to paragraph §foo this does not apply to pedestrians". Stairs at the nearest bridge made getting down easy, and there were some rough footpaths from other people. The hashpoint was on a bit of a slope, but still safely accessible.

Interesting birds seen: a Grey Heron and a group of about a dozen Tufted Ducks.
