Revision as of 20:04, 14 March 2024

Hi! I'm Gaelan (she/they). After being tempted by geohashing for many years, I finally went out and made my first attempt in May of 2023.

Depending on the time of year, I'm likely to be based in either Seattle or Dundee graticules, though due to the geography of the latter I'm also reasonably likely to be found in Edinburgh or Perth.

Expeditions

  • 2023-05-15 55 -3 - first expedition, failed but a lovely bit of rural Falkirk and a nice walk along a canal/aquaduct back to West Lothian
  • 2023-07-16 45 -122 - A street in North Portland. Got there uneventfully and a day early.
  • 2023-07-19 47 -122 - Tideflats a mile from my house. Got there successfully, but rather muddily.
  • 2024-03-02 56 -3 - A road near Inchture. Straightforward enough, made it with a friend.
  • 2024-03-14 56 -2 - a creek between two fields near Pitscottie. Successful but very wet.
