Expedition
After the poisoning reported in my previous expedition, I'm glad to report I'm still alive. Today there was an easy road hashpoint. The road was quiet so it was safe to cruise through at 60m/h or 101 km/h, the national speed limit thus gaining a speed racer award.
This month, Microsoft borked my 32 bit computer with the 1709 patches. That was one bork too many and that box is now running Debian LXDE. The Microsoft files have been permanently deleted. It amused me to name this host "Bollux". + It's quicker. + I can edit Transport Stream video for free. + It no longer nags me avery few minutes. + The file explorer remains uncluttered without needing registry edits after wupdates. + Updates are sooo quick. + Bluefish is cool for PHP editing and I can open and save files on my server via ssh. - I can't get Google Earth to work properly. - Sooner or later someone will send me an Office document I can't open. </vent_hate>
