Hello. We are actually a geohashing team composed of two brothers from Orange Park, Florida. The one brother is Chris, a student at Georgia Tech who currently lives on campus in downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The other brother, Nick, is a student at Georgia State University and he also lives in university housing. Being brothers and living in such proximity, (and having only one car between us) we make one hell of a geohashing duo.

There exists also a third brother; Mr. Bow Tie.

Geohashes We've scouted

On 2009-01-01. Achieved our first geohash on New Years Day! The point was near Pritchard Road on the West side, located near a set of railroad tracks. Neither of us have GPS, but through a combination guesstimating based on Google maps and wandering we are confident that we came within 10 feet of the hashpoint.

On 2009-01-02. Checked the location of the hash as soon as the stock market opened and found it to be about 6 miles away, in a residential subdivision. The actual hashpoint was located inside of a house. A combination ambassador, consecutive, and no batteries geohash was attempted, but unfortunately nobody was home. High hopes faded into a no trespassing geohash.

On 2009-01-08. Checked the hash between classes, and it looked just close enough to accomplish in the hour and a half that we had. Our first no batteries and speed racer geohashes.

On 2009-01-09. This geohash was located just inside of a liquor store. The end result of this geohashing expedition has to be good.
