I'm not clear on this. Does the KITE have to be over the hashpoint or the flyer have to be standing on the hashpoint? Do you have to physically achieve the geohash coordinates? -Robyn 18:18, 7 July 2010 (UTC) | I'm not clear on this. − | I think intent is the kite must be flown within sight of the hashpoint, so firstly yes you must physically reach the hashpoint. Else if you use the kite to reach the hash point instead of you that achievement is covered in 'Geohash by proxy achievement'. The purpose of this achievement is just an award for something to do at the hash point, like 'sex geohash' or 'picnic achievement'. In the pictured example there were powerlines directly above the hash point so we were as close as possible. -- JimmyNZ JimmyNZ 01:54, 8 July 2010 (UTC) | + | :I think intent is the kite must be flown within sight of the hashpoint, so firstly yes you must physically reach the hashpoint. support - I think there is a real case here for another spontaneous adventure generator. Surely if you can have an award for getting laid at a hash site, which may not always be possible, then flying a kite would be equally in tune with the geohash spirit. JimmyNZ 04:04, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
support - kites are beautiful, and it depends on the location and we need new achievements. :) --relet 17:44, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

support - I actually thought this already was one. --mykaDragonBlue [- i have no sig -] 00:00, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- So how many 'supports' does one need to move this potential achievement to the next stage? Greenslime 20:00, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- Just enough to feel good about it. ;) -- relet 11:06, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm not clear on this. Does the KITE have to be over the hashpoint or the flyer have to be standing on the hashpoint? Do you have to physically achieve the geohash coordinates? -Robyn 18:18, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
- I think intent is the kite must be flown within sight of the hashpoint, so firstly yes you must physically reach the hashpoint. Else if you use the kite to reach the hash point instead of you that achievement is covered in 'Geohash by proxy achievement'. The purpose of this achievement is just an award for something to do at the hash point, like 'sex geohash' or 'picnic achievement'.
