there we were: my girlfriend and i, in berlin, on her birthday – the hashpoint being only 30km away (what are the odds?). it was only logical to fetch my grandmother's car – after attending her golden anniversary – in order to introduce geohashing to yet another wonderful person. what turned out to be was that after we arrived in the beautiful municipality of grüntal around 6 p.m. we discovered that the hashpoint was right in the backyard of the feldsteinkirche (field stone church) – amen. :-)
