Hello Ben. I have made a few more skeleton reports - as above. With the 10000th expedition coming up, it would be good to have a more accurate count. I think Cambridge is all correct now.

Hi Ben, got your message! At the moment it's a bit up in the air whether I'll be able to go to tomorrow's hash or not; I should know later tonight. If I am, it'll be for 4pm.

Well, you've probably seen by now that Sourcerer is keen for meetups but already has other plans for tomorrow. He does often do multi-graticule trips so I'm sure if you invite him in the future he will certainly consider a visit. Anyway, let me know when you've decided whether you'll attend -- I'm not worried either way but as it's a long way (for both of us) I won't go if you don't, so please be reasonably certain you'll go if you say you will.  :-) Thanks. I suspect it will be Norwich. This weekend is a very unusually active one for me; you're usually more keen to travel. That said, Cambridge has been the most active graticule before now...  :-) — Benjw  _{talk} 00:50, 22 August 2015 (EDT)

Both as it happens. Cambridge gets the ribbon for "coordinates reached" and Norwich gets one for "expeditions". Of course there's the proviso about late expedition reports but I think it's in the bag. You and Tongs made the difference though. Without your expeditions you'd not even be placed in the Most active graticules top three.

Nope. Just whenever it happens. (It's unlikely to be this week as we're on holiday for our wedding anniversary.) Geohashing Day Invitation

All geohashers are cordially invited to the 10^th anniversary 2018 geohashing day meetup in the Cambridge UK graticule.

• 21 May 2018 (Mon): An excellent celebration of Geohashing Day will take place at 4pm local time at a place yet to be determined.
• 26 May 2018 (Sat): is Mouse Over Day and might be more convenient so the invitation applies to this day too.

I should be going for one near Newmarket later today (assuming a delivery I'm waiting in for turns up), but it's nowhere near as interesting. I've retired and am here for 28 days. I already had the cold travelling out (apologies to the other 180 Ryanair passengers and crew - Karma?) and I'd far rather suffer in the warm. There are five zones, all mostly sea and three involve crossing from Greek Cyprus to Turkish - quite possible but it's another layer of difficulty. I'll be lucky to get another. Did you see 2018-01-03 39 27? There's an app needed for this game. I had to do it the hard way. My goal is the cheer half way through a flight and gain a "drag along" of about 180 people. Hi Benjw, please be aware that because of the issue described at Talk:Dow_Jones_Industrial_Average#2019-03-18 some sources (at least https://geohashing.info) have been reporting wrong locations for tomorrow. Since you created both reports (for hashes that would be very close with the wrong dow) I wouldn't be surprised if you are one of the unlucky ones who got the wrong locations. Ah! Thank you for letting me know, it's very good of you to have checked which points I was using. Yes, I was using geohashing.info and having checked anthill and peeron, which both give me a different point, I think I agree with you that I was using the wrong point. Sadly the correct one is a lot further away, but you have saved me a trip tomorrow so thank you for that.
