Remove this section if you don't want an image at the top (left) of your report.  You should remove the "Image:" or "File:"

tag from your image file name, and replace the all upper-case word IMAGE in the above line.

And DON'T FORGET to add your expedition and the best photo you took to the gallery on the Main Page! We'd love to read your report, but that means we first have to discover it! :)

Expedition

It has been snowing and raining off and on for several days in Portland, and although it has warmed up considerably the temperature is now fluctuating between 30F and 34F, which is to say -1C and 1C, and you can just imagine. Geohashing hasn't really been in the picture, but when I checked hashpoints this morning I saw that our transit system, TriMet, was essentially offering direct service from my house. That was super-nice of them, even if it wasn't intentional.

The hardest part was the icy six steps down from the porch, and then I fell once during the two and a half blocks to the bus stop. From there, though, it was just a matter of letting the #75 trundle north, turn, trundle west for a bit, and then drop me at the hashpoint. The app was telling me I'd arrived while I was still getting situated.

On the return trip, I let the bus take me a few extra blocks, treated myself to my first restaurant meal in a while, and then picked up a few groceries before slipping and sliding the six blocks home.
