As I was determined to go, and Jessica was my visitor for the weekend, there was not much she could do about me enthusiastically leading the way. We took some subways, then walked the rest of the way to the crossroads, which was easier than going all the way by underground. I had memorized the exact location of the hashpoint as marked on google-maps, and still do: At the north-western corner of the crossroads, close to a street lantern (?) which in turn was located next to the westernmost street crossing marks. Distance from street lantern (?) is three street crossing marks rawly to the west, exactly paralleling the street. Words fail me at describing the excitement I felt as closing in on the crossroads.. making out the street lantern (sign post, actually), the crossing marks.. finally placing my feet on the exact spot!

Phew. Now, we had to determine if the point was reachable under ground, too. The elevator came in as a handy landmark. I counted my steps from the edge of the elevator to the geohash (seven or eight). We took the elevator downstairs, where I tried to proceed the same amount of steps in direction geohash. After five and a half steps I bumped into the edge of two walls. We circled around the edge, decided that the hashpoint was located slightly left of the bisecting line, therefore taking a picture of ourselves in front of the left wall - within an estimated radius of two meters from the coordinates! I think that counts!

Distance from street lantern (?) is three street crossing marks roughly to the west, exactly paralleling the street.
