My name is Alistair. I live just over a mile east of the border between Weymouth and Southampton, so I will be geohashing in both. I shall often be travelling in conjunction with User:04housemat and User:Donks169, when he can be bothered.

• 2009-08-01 50 -2 - The edge of a field on the A350 in Charlton Marshall.
• 2009-08-18 50 -2 - The middle of a corn field near Wool.
• 2009-08-24 50 -1 - A forested area near Osborne House on the Isle of Wight.
• 2009-08-31 50 -2 - A grassy field near Wool.
• 2009-09-20 50 -1 - A garden on Fernside Avenue, less than a mile from my house.
• 2009-10-12 50 -1 - Nuffield Road, on the industrial estate, 920 metres from my house.
• 2009-12-27 50 -2‎ - A field near Osmington, with views of the white horse.
• 2009-12-29 51 -1 - A field near Salisbury. My first geohash in the Swindon graticule.
• 2010-01-23 50 -2 - The side of a country lane outside Sturminster Marshall.
• 2010-04-01 50 -1 - A grassy bank on the campus of Bournemouth University.
• 2010-08-27 50 -2 - Heathland on Arne peninsula.
• 2011-04-24 50 -1 - Heathland near Bournemouth Airport.
• 2011-04-30 50 -2 - Heathland just outside Wareham.
• 2012-05-17 50 -2 - First geohash for over a year, on Upton Heath.
• 2012-06-17 50 -2 - Kingston Lacy
• 2012-07-01 50 -1 - New Forest, 1km away from a road I had to travel along that day anyway.

Less successful geohashes

• 2009-07-17 50 -1 - The middle of Hatch Pond - got close but not quite there.
• 2009-12-21 50 -2 - A field near the village of East Chaldon - Co-ordinates reached successfully, but a day too early.
• 2009-12-23 50 -2 - On the floodplain of the River Stour - I parked a few metres away, but couldn't go any further.
• 2010-02-07 50 -2 - A wooded area south of Winterbourne Zelston. Boggy ground and a pond prevented us from reaching this geohash.

04housemat, Macronencer and Mahahahaneapneap earned the Graticule Unlocked Achievement by being the first to reach any hashpoint in the (50, -2) graticule, here, on 2009-08-01.

Mahahahaneapneap earned the Pub Geohash Achievement by visiting a pub visible from the (50, -2) geohash on 2009-08-01.

Mahahahaneapneap earned the GeoTrash Geohash Achievement by cleaning up the (50, -2) geohash on 2009-08-01.

Mahahahaneapneap earned the Drag-along achievement by dragging Ed to the (50, -2) geohash on 2009-08-18.

Mahahahaneapneap earned the Midnight Geohash achievement by reaching the (50, -1) geohash on 2009-10-12 in the middle of the night.
