My arrival was about 15 minutes before midnight so I surveyed the park. In the northern half, there was a children's play area with swings, slides and climbing frames just like the apes get in a zoo. In the southern half there was a small soccer field with only one set of goal posts. The hashpoint was not in the park so as midnight approached, I walked up the narrow lane past houses. Right at the end, the distance dropped close to zero. I waited another 90 seconds for my GPSr to roll over to 00:00 and took the proof photo. SatNav time can be trusted, unlike phone or internet time both of which still thought it was yesterday. GeohashDroid refused to find the hashpoint, even after I reset the phone clock. In the end I told it the date and graticule and it worked. I think its server clock was nearly 8 minutes slow judging by the time stamp on my "arrived" message.

Plans

This looks as though it's in a hedge separating public park-land from a drive leading to several houses. One or other access route should lead to the exact point. This is a good candidate for a midnight arrival, having visited 2015-02-11 52 0 at about 23:15.

Expedition
