I'm an avid xkcd reader~~, but never geohashed before~~. yangman and xore got me into it after i heard about their recent escapades. I'm quite interested in non-motorized transport, particularly cycling, but i've also recently learned how to sail.

Update: I'm now living in Berlin, looking for an apartment. I'll be here until summer 2011.

For the curious, here's a link to my origin geohash, which is about 5km inland from Britannia beach, apparently on the side of a mountain.

Sailing

I've taken several courses in sailing a small boat (Laser, Laser II, etc), and I've sailed larger boats before. If a water hash comes up near Berlin, I'll probably participate somehow.

Cycling

I'm game for any distance less than about 200km, if I'm free that day. Let me know if you're looking for a cycling partner. I also have camping equipment, if necessary.
