Expedition
There was some slight tension on the journey to this hashpoint. My old car was making ominous noises and it was clearly time to trade it in for something newer. As the proud owner of a less old, second hand and unfamiliar Škoda, I was surprised by the petrol gauge calibration and was close to running out of fuel. As it was nearly midnight, most of the filling stations were closed. I diverted via a major road and found fuel before the situation became too critical.
So my arrival was delayed by about 10 minutes. The hashpoint was in a meadow, probably for horses. There was lush grass and hay contained in a metal feed enclosure. The horses must have been taken indoors because the field was empty.
The journey home was nice in bright moonlight. The temperature dropped to 4C and fog was beginning to form. I saw owls, rabbits, deer and a fox.
