Plans
So many plans to choose from. What do you guys suggest? I would like to check out a few places at Tegeler See for their slackline-ability. We could do that by bike.. but I have some interesting alternatives, too. :D And then, with the low distance, lyx would probably like to walk again, so I might want to pick her for the return trip. -- relet 18:46, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
update: Suggested meetup time ~2pm (1pm Westhafen). Phoenix and drag-along and relet would go by bike. Or should we aim for a more official time? -- relet 19:15, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
If you are going to stay in the area for a while we could meetup later. I don't know yet if I'll be available at this time. So if not then I could just follow. --pari 20:56, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yup! more update:: We meet Jungfernheide 1:30pm. Cycle to Phoenix, do a nice bike trip around the lakes, and will reach the hash point roughly exactly at meetup time 4pm. :From there, we shall proceed to the beach. :D -- relet 09:48, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
- Lyx will walk, starting at Westhafen 2pm. -- lyx
Expedition
relet
With the planning phase being a bit confusing for this one, we basically came up with a last minute solution. In the morning, I had a phone talk with Phoenix (who in turn woke Andi from his well-deserved slumber) and we decided to reverse the direction of our cycling trip, in the hopes that we wouldn't reach the hash at 2pm, but rather around 4pm. Where we would pick up lyx, and possibly any others who would visit the hash at meetup o'clock. Of course, planning fixed times for such a long journey isn't easy, which is why we eventually hit the hash much closer to 5pm than 4pm.
But first thing first. I was scheduled to meet Andi an the S-Bahn station at half past one. At quarter past, I was finished packing my stuff, not forgetting the towel and the usb charger for my bike, and etc. Unlocking my bike, I noticed that the screw holding the rear axle of my bike was loose. That had happened before (it's a bug in the joint holding my trailer), and wasn't that bad. I had the shape-coded bit (Pitlock, for those who know them) with me, so all I would need was a thin, solid piece of metal to pull it tight. That could wait until later.
relet and Andi
I met Andi at half past and at the station, where he was already waiting in the shadows. I noticed that that rear wheel was really significantly loose, but Andi couldn't help out with any tools. So we proceeded along the channels towards Phoenix' place.
pari
I was a bit late. Starting at about 1:30pm at my place, I decided to cross the way that I expected relet and Andi were taking. Unfortunately, I didn't meet them. So I called Phoenix to ask for his advice. We agreed upon meeting at his place. When I was almost there a while later, the three cyclists already came towards me. Let the tour begin!
relet, Andi, pari and Phoenix
Phoenix had also just put his head out of the front door when we arrived. And he could help me with an allen key.
- also fixed my rear wheel which was completely loose. trailer pulled the screw loose yesterday. need to solve this bug. -- relet 12:14, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Jerrome & friends
We went as far as we could go by motorbike, parked them, and continued on foot to the actual location. We arrived a few minutes before 4pm, and spent about 20 minutes on site. Since nobody else showed up in that time, we decided to pose for a few photos, and left for some ice cream.
lyx
Reached the footpath, after having walked here, at roughly 4pm and waited, while reading on a tree stump near the footpath, for lack of batteries in her GPS device.
