Where's the picture of the golf ball at the hashpoint? I can't believe that you didn't take one, so why are you withholding it? Why didn't you lease golf clubs? But it's a funny report nontheless! - Danatar 09:22, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

It's at the top of the page. We didn't rent clubs because no sooner had we asked to take the picture than we were whisked away in the golf cart. -Robyn 21:41, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

Before we were done we told him straight out that we were geohashing. He'd heard of it and even said that his mother had let geohashers through her property to get to a site. We didn't probe too hard to see if it was hashing or caching that he had really heard of, because he seemed to accept hashing as a perfectly valid excuse for a tour of a golf course. Wouldn't it be funny f he were secretly a geohasher and had placed the golf ball there himself earlier in the day? -Robyn 21:41, 19 September 2010 (UTC)

I think you should get a Schroedinger's Golf Geohash ribbon for this one. Or maybe you should simultaneously get one and not get one. There's obviously something about golf that makes people relaxed and friendly -- I walked through a golf course on a public footpath earlier this year to get a geohash, and on my way out I had quite a lengthy chat with the owner about this and that.
