If the weather is nice and the tide is low, this could be a nice Saturday geohash jaunt.

Sadly, I'm pretty sick today, so we can't rent an airplane to get that sweet geohash sitting right on the taxiway at Skagit Regional. -Robyn 14:59, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

A spot in Birch Bay on my way home from Seattle that I simply had to try for, but could not reach. --Wenslayer 04:20, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Silver Lake Park on a Saturday.

This one is mine! Thepiguy 15:59, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

I'm going to bike from my House, take the bus through the tunnel and then bike directly from the Lardner bus loop. The bus loop sounds like a good place to meet up if anyone wanted to do a bit of cycling together (or help a fellow geohasher through the border!). I have plans this evening so I'd like to be back fairly early. Who's up for a lunch geohash? Thepiguy 15:59, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Please take a lot of photos, I liked the place a lot when I was there some years ago.--Zb 18:38, 16 April 2009 (UTC)
Ah we did it. Probably not as many photos as you might have liked. Pi and Rhonda took more. We'll see what they got. -Robyn 03:34, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

OMG it's on beautiful Orcas Island. Please go, everyone, and post pictures of the ferries and your bikes. I can't make it, I'm way off to the East (11E, to be precise, same lat., though)--Zb 18:12, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

It's a big island. It's there a lot. Today's is in a field, probably a no trespassing. I'll go someday, but not today. It's 106 km just from the US border to the ferry terminal. Too much to ride for a probable not-reached. -Robyn 18:22, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, let's just hope the island will remain in its place, as you say... Also, I'm sure that one day, the coordinates will be in Bellingham, right in the backyard of the folks who invented my nickname that also became my user name in this wiki... I'll put a note here if I find out that this happens.--Zb 18:32, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

July 19

Planning a meetup in North Cascades, if any are interested. See you between 4pm and 5pm - I've got a GPS and Camera --Thomcat 18:55, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

June 7

For Saturday consider the hashpoint in the Victoria graticule. It's on San Juan Island, a fun daytrip.

June 5

Today's location is on Interstate 5, so avid geohashers could qualify for the Speed_Racer_Geohash Achievement quite easily!

  • Correction, extreme zoom shows it to be just off the road, near a bend in Quilceda Creek.

May 24

  • With no other major compelling Saturday plans, I may be inclined to meet up. Thoughts? --Evan
  • Robyn - I'm in the Vancouver graticule but if the point is in the north, I'll sometimes try for it. (I did today but chickened at the border crossing. How not to sound crazy!?
  • It appears that the meetup point for Saturday is in the middle of the water between Camano and Whidbey. Anyone from this graticule going to one of the other close meetups? --Matt
    • Alternatively, the meetup could take place on the beach on Whidbey closest to the hash point.
      • That's funny, I was half-planning on visiting that beach at some point over the weekend, anyhow. See you there Saturday at 4pm! --Evan 15:15, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
