Misclassified

  • 2009-09-30 52 -0 - Neither thepiguy or srs0 apear on the chart with Benjw. All three are mentioned in the report along with Davidc, who is correctly displayed at not attending. Thepiguy 09:51, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
  • 2009-03-23 52 0 - Drag-along participants (or, in this case, non-participants) often just get referred to by their first names. In this instance there was one called Kate, who just happens to have the same name as an actual geohasher, with the result that the latter incorrectly appears as hashing on this expedition. I've changed the expedition report to help, but I guess this might be a recurring problem. — Benjw  {talk} 04:16, 5 September 2012 (EDT)

Missing expedition

2009-09-21 46 5 does not appear on the graph --Crox 19:57, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

--Crox 19:58, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

should be ok now that I've added "participants" sections to the reports --Crox 01:38, 5 February 2010 (UTC)

If Thomcat is listed as part of 2009-02-22 51 10, I don't see it. I'll be adding some of my ninja expeditions the next day or so. --Thomcat 17:25, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

Done

Patched

  • 2008-08-26 51 7 - Danatar created this page for a ninja, but didn't take part in the expedition. - Danatar 08:18, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Actually fixed

  • 2009-03-23_47_-122 - thepiguy was only mentioned here for being a jerk and not going to Robyn's Birthday party. He never went to Seattle. (sorry Robyn!) Thepiguy 09:03, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Suggestions

Trace line

I'd love to see a trace line on Google Maps, following the path of the coordinates in the first column. How exactly do you write a Google Maps/Earth overlay, anyway? Where would I find the API for that? -- Jevanyn

If it's just a path, you could write a kml file for that, and have it displayed in either google maps or google earth. I've done that for all hashes here, for example: http://relet.net/data/geo/possiblyallhashes.kml - You can load it in Google Earth quite ok, Maps and your browser won't manage though. :D I like the idea.. now if I just find some time, I am going write it. -- relet 19:33, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Here's what it looks like in gnuplot. -- relet 20:00, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Y-axis

For future renderings, would it be possible to repeat the list of graticules on the right-side as well? It would make it easier for reading when scrolling across the chart. :) - Elbie 19:44, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Or maybe repeat the lat/lon / graticule name on the line in the background as some sort of watermark ? --Crox 20:00, 15 November 2009 (UTC)
Right side is feasible.. more background decoration is a bit too noisy to read. -- relet 20:10, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Question

Does this graph recalculate at particular intervals? I notice that it hasn't changed in a month or so... Michael5000 23:48, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

I notice it hasn't changed in 16 months or so. Is defunct? Michael5000 (talk) 01:11, 8 August 2013 (EDT)
