Also I received your not-hashcard on Geohashing Day! It was in my mailbox, sticking out, when I got home from the expedition. I knew it was a hashcard immediately from the German handwriting. Thank you! -[[User:Robyn|Robyn]] 18:22, 23 May 2009 (UTC) | Also I received your not-hashcard on Geohashing Day! It was in my mailbox, sticking out, when I got home from the expedition. Since geohashing discourages leaving anything permanent that doesn't belong to the area, I'd have to use nearby materials: stones, trunks and the like. It's not very likely that a hashpoint falls on a place that is neither a field, densely populated, or otherwise cared for. Forest isn't good either (foliage - I'd have to hope for Google using fall/winter imagery). Leaving something awesome like the [[wikipedia:Marree Man]] is utterly impossible here. Geohashers in other graticules/parts of the world may have better chances (please try!). Arting
I'm aware that you're the person to talk to re: creating magical pieces of artwork for templates. I just thought if I'd drop you a line about maybe creating some for the Calendar Girl acheivement if I asked really nicely. Regards, UnwiseOwl 23:21, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Your postcard artwork is especially nice. I like how simple and recognizable the small icon is, and the extra details telling the whole story, still simply, in the large version. -Robyn 10:20, 23 January 2009 (UTC)
Can you please provide a copy of your incredible 5-Continent artwork in an appropriate for T-shirts? -Robyn 02:12, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
Heidelberg
Hey there,
I live near Heidelberg as well. If you feel like geohashing with me some time, just drop me a line :) Fivetonsofflax 16:40, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'll walk to the hashpoint today as well, but I probably won't start before 8:00 pm and get there at about 8:30. You'll probably be there earlier, but I just thought I'd let you know, just in case. Fivetonsofflax 11:06, 30 April 2009 (UTC)
Exams
Congrats! --joannac 08:28, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you! Preparing for it really affected my life (and, secondarily, my ability to go hashing) over the course of the last months. --ilpadre 08:33, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Icon Request
Do you have time to make icons for Geohashing Day ribbons? -Robyn 06:00, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- The request comes a few days late, since I'm busy with final preparations for my vacation now. I'm sorry. --ilpadre 06:24, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks for the quick reply. Enjoy your vacation. -Robyn 07:02, 14 May 2009 (UTC)
Sorry! I'm a dork. --joannac 21:47, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Are you in Heidelberg these days? If so, Geohashing Day Meetup in Eppelheim! Koepfel talk 22:28, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
What Will You Make It out of?
I love your goal: Leave a hashmark big and durable enough that it can be seen from space. Then wait for the next Google Earth imagery update. !
Also I received your not-hashcard on Geohashing Day! It was in my mailbox, sticking out, when I got home from the expedition. I knew it was a hashcard immediately from the German handwriting. Thank you! -Robyn 18:22, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
