Hello, geohashing world! I'm a regular xkcd reader, and I stumbled onto this wiki late in 2008. I've always liked going random places, seeing random things, and generally learning more about the area and state I live in, so geohashing has been a fun hobby to pick up. I haven't met any fellow geohashers yet, but I hope to see you out there!

In current news, my girlfriend and I are planning a MONSTER Hash for 2009-08-23. I wish it would have been a Saturday, but it's a weekend and the fractions fell on some great points in nearby graticules, including the lakeshore of a national park.
