Sourcerer - had checked the OS map (using Bing maps) and found the right-of-way easily in the dark but it was not useful because the tractor tracks ran parallel to it. It was straightforward to follow the tractor tracks to the hashpoint. The ploughing and planting had left very neat rows where potatoes would soon be showing. Chrome Crusaders - We left in the morning which is unusual for us, narrowly missing a rain cloud. Unsure of where the public right of way was we tried to be stealthy in our (black) leathers while walking across the boundaries of 3 or 4 farms (green and brown) - We didn't get found or shot and happily reached the point in the middle of a plowed field, then did the post, a photo or two, and ran quickly back where we came. We tried using the other side of the railway line on the way back, but found it was too overgrown and had no way of getting back to the road, so we had to cross the tracks again!
- Arrived. -- Sourcerer (talk) @52.8847,1.3347 22:58, 28 May 2015 (GMT+01:00)
ChromeCrusaders spelling of plowed made Sourcerer smile! Google the urban dictionary definition to find out why!
