Weekday - Assuming I don't have to work late, I will be available to go geohashing between 6 and 7PMI will be willing to attempt any potential meetup from Boca Raton southwards.  For these I will go home first, and have my GPS.  I will also be willing to make a detour and go north as far as Boynton, maybe even Lake Worth, but will not be going home first, so I will not have my GPS.

I can't really do a whole lot until after I move.  I will go if one is close, though.

Weekend - If accessible, and there is a potential for a meetup, I will attempt it.  I am willing to drive, if it is a long distance.

===Potential future projects===

It has been suggested that we use a bot to create a list of all graticules which have had a successful geohash.  This is desired so that people will know which graticules they can claim the Virgin Graticule achievement for.  I will consider working on this in the future, but for the time being I get the impression that my current bot project is of a higher priority.  --[[User:Aperfectring|aperfectring]] 19:35, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

I will be relocating to Portland, Oregon at the beginning of September. I will live very close to the western border, so will likely go hashing in McMinnville, Oregon just as much as Portland. In the mean time, I doubt I will get the chance to go hashing again, since I am busy getting ready for the move now.

My rules for attending geohashes:

I can't really do a whole lot until after I move. I will go if one is close, though.

Geohashes Attended

I usually have more pictures from the expedition, and have higher res versions of all the ones on the site, just ask.

Achievements

These are arranged by color coding first, and alphabetically by achievement name second. I will only claim an achievement once with the following exceptions:

  • Minesweeper - Only one per "region". Preferably none of the graticules will overlap between two claims of this.
  • Virgin - If I get it for the graticule, I will take it
  • Meet-up - If I meet someone new, they will get a ribbon. Everyone on the expedition where I meet someone new will be listed.

Possibly more to come to this list.

Aperfectring achieved level 1 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement
by visiting coordinates in Palm Beach, Florida and 1 of the surrounding graticules.

I now have 4 points, for obtaining a squishy ~1.5km away from hash point on 2008-12-06.

Injury

I stupidly injured myself in the Dallas airport, so I probably won't go hashing for a while, unless it requires relatively little walking. Pic (warning, graphic): [1]

My injury is still present, preventing me from doing anything like running, but it doesn't really hinder me otherwise.

Projects

I am maintaining the Notification program, notes here: User:Aperfectring/Notification

I am working on a bot to automate the creation of the list of upcoming geohashing expeditions.
