It includes the southern half of Mainz as well as the northern portion of Karlsruhe and contains large parts of the Odenwald in the east.
Statistically, once every three years a hashpoint hits France in the most southwestern part of the graticule.

- 2009-01-25: Fluxkompensator and Koepfel met in Karlsruhe at a driveway in front of a garage.
- 2009-01-22: Fail! Ryo was blocked by a fence in Mannheim.
- 2009-01-21: Danatar and ilpadre met in a field near Eppelheim.
- 2009-01-07: Ryo headed to Grünstadt/Mertesheim to locate the Geohash.
- 2009-01-05: Located near Pfinztal-Berghausen. Fluxkompensator struggled through the snow by bike.
- 2008-12-30 and 2008-12-31: The two hashpoints being just 4 km apart, ilpadre took the train to the first one in Wörth and walked to the second hashpoint in the middle of the night.
- 2008-12-10: ilpadre went to Mauer and sat down on a bench.
- 2008-11-29: Failed expedition by an anonymous hasher.
- 2008-11-28: Located near Karlsruhe in the forest. Fluxkompensator and a friend were there late in the evening.
- 2008-11-15: Located near Battenberg(Pfalz) in the forest. Ryo and Moe made a midnight hash.
- 2008-10-29: Again in Heidelberg, a Déjà Vu Geohash for ilpadre.
- 2008-10-26: Located in the Odenwald, near Heidelberg. ilpadre used the expedition as a running workout.
- 2008-10-22: Located in Heidelberg, ilpadre and Danatar missed each other by 45 minutes.
