In the morning, I took the train via Herford, Altenbeken and Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe to Uder. In Hann. Münden, a familiar Geohasher boarded the train: It was Georg! We continued our journey to Uder together, where I left the train and Georg stayed on in order to take a different route.

From the train station in Uder, I walked the rest of the distance, up a hill overlooking the river Leine. To get to the coordinates, I could either walk through the forest or around it. I went for the latter option, walking along a rather steep path and once I reached the border of the forest and the field, along the edge of the field.

Initially, I did not see anyone else as I approached the coordinates, but Torodeas emerged from the shadows as I advanced towards him. He had been seeking shade under the trees on the edge of the forest. I located the coordinates a bit more towards the field, while Torodeas located them a bit more into the forest, but all within accuracy. We shook hands at the coordinates and talked, and Torodeas shared some brioche with me.

Georg had previously informed me that he was not likely to make it all the way to the destination. After a while, Torodeas and I decided to check if he had made it to the closest point on the main path, and we indeed found him there. Now, Torodeas and Georg introduced themselves to each other. After hanging out there for a while, we assumed that it was unlikely that more people would show up, and left shortly after 15:00, heading back to the train station.

At the station, Torodeas and Georg earned themselves the Geotrash Geohash. Georg and I said Goodbye to Torodeas, who boarded a train heading toward Erfurt, while we took a train in the other direction. I said Goodbye to Georg in Hann. Münden, and continued towards Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe. From there, I took the train via Altenbeken and Herford back home to Osnabrück.

The today's expedition took place in an area without much interest for me. So I decided not to make a long walk around but travel directly to the hash. I left home at 12:30, took the train from Ihringshausen at 12:53, and changed the train in Hann. Münden. Sitting in the train suddenly I heard my name calling. It was Fippe! We talked a little, but then he left the train at Uder, while I wanted to take a bus to get nearer to the hash without walking. I took the train until Heiligenstadt. There was only a minibus for the line to Uder-Schönau and I had to book this bus an hour earlier. And I went out of the station and saw a minibus with its driver. I went to the bus and asked the driver, when he would go, and it showed out, that I could go immediately without waiting the next 30 minutes for its planned departure.

From Schönau I walked to the forest. In the forest I looked for the right path and an old forest way was mine. I passed a steep uphill leading way and wondered, if this would be the best way to the hash, but at first I followed the way along the ridge further. Around ten minutes later I arrived at an barrier in the forest and looked around if there is a way uphill to the hash.

While I was thinking about the best practicable way uphill I heard steps behind me and shouting and Fippe and Torodeas came the same way down. We said hello, then I took some photos of this point. Then we decided that nobody else would come to this derivate point and started the walk for the Uder railway station. At the station we found some trash of deliberated youth. And Torodeas and me put them into the trash bins.

Torodeas took an eastbound train for this journey home, Fippe and I took the train to Kassel and in Hann. Münden I changed again the train.
