Arriving in Neuenhagen around 7pm as the sun was setting, I was a little concerned about making it back before nightfall as I had no lights. The ride to the hash was short and brisk. rabbitfox and I crossed the dual carriageway with care and entered the hash field under a glorious sunset. Coordinates were reached quickly and the necessary proof established. The field was rather large and boring however, so we quickly set back for home. The train back was fortunately punctual and we were home and laughing by 9pm. BVG had failed again in their ploy to ruin a hash.

Expedition

Before relet left for Mexico, I promised we'd take good care of the graticule while he was away. I thought it would be best to get a jump on the month by attempting this hash. It was just outside the city to the east, along the same S5 line we'd taken the previous Saturday, and then a couple of kilometres south to the hash in a field.

Unfortunately the S5 was no more reliable on this day, and a good hour went by of cancelled trains before one finally arrived. Grumbling passengers were knocked silly as I insistently pushed my bicycle aboard the cramped train.
