Expedition

This seemed like it would be a very easy hashpoint to catch in passing, but it's in a tricky sliver of neighborhood pressed between the interstate and a rail corridor, so it was actually a bit difficult to find. Then too, I had pictured the schoolyard as deserted, but this school must have a summer session, because the building was humming with activity and there were little children playing in the schoolyard. So, that didn't work -- you can't tromp around on a school playground during a schoolday, not unless you want drama.

So, we went and did 2022-07-01 45 -121, and some other stuff.

On the way back home, we once again had trouble finding the school, but figured it out eventually. It was getting kind of dark, but there were lots of kids running around, and older kids playing basketball -- it all felt very wholesome. We trooped across to the hashpoint, which is on the fenceline. The backyard on the other side of the fence seemed to be entirely full of sheds; that was weird, but not important.

Then we went home!
