Does having a "drag-along" void your eligability? Juventas 04:00, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- I suppose that's up to you. -Robyn 05:46, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- I think you should have to be the only person to geohash. The requirements state: If others reach the same hash point - with or without you, you fail. That would seem to rule you out if you have anyone else with you. --CJ 06:54, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
I love this idea! Oh and I love this too - Including the Australians, who are always geohashing. Upside-down, even. It's amazing. Hehehe...we sure do love our geohashing here down under! --CJ 23:23, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
Candidates
Our first (potential) candidate - Brett at 2008-09-03 40 -85 on September 3 2008. Found by Thomcat 18:27, 5 September 2008 (UTC).
- There are way more, if you look at August there are 11 days where there was only 1 report. Even my multihash fits the rules.--Arvid 19:11, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- Will check again. On the day of your bicycle multihash there was another (2008-08-25 49 17) so it doesn't fit. --Thomcat 19:39, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- I think Arvid is right. I created day meetup categories for many days that didn't have them, and many had only one. I would be surprised if I have not earned this one. -Robyn 03:40, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
- I think so as well.. I still haven't got any, though. :) -- Relet 10:50, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

I just did the manual check for the rest of september and all of october. This surfaced only two more no candidates (as where there was only one expedition it had several participants) and three empty pages in five weeks, so october was a pretty busy month. Now with winter in the northern hemisphere it may get easier again, though. --Ekorren 08:28, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
2008-12-11_49_20 - although it's debateable whether this became an expedition at all. Does this invalidate thepiguy's claim for 2008-12-11? --joannac 22:10, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
- The quick check I've been doing for candidate dates is whether there is only one page in the category, so I missed that one - it isn't in the category. I should have remembered as this page was the one which triggered me naming the polish graticules! The page was written at 0:20 AM local time, so the non-user who made it most definitely wasn't at the spot before. I doubt this expedition took place at all. Until they come back and report on it, I'd assume they didn't go. --Ekorren 23:54, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
