Okay, so I am from Canberra, the National Capital of Australia.

It is approximately 35S 149E.

I started on geohashing in mid-March 2012.

Success criteria

In Australia, there are quite stiff penalties for a business or land owner under national Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) legislation if someone is injured on their property, even if they are doing the geohashing in all innocence. So, I go as far as I reasonably can, document it, and claim a got-there if I get to a place where the land-owner has put something in my way (sign, gate, fence, etc.)
