It turned out that I had lost a break light and also a dipped headlight. In many countries, this would result in a fine but I just got a warning. Luckily I was insured and taxed so there was no serious problem. While the vehicle check was going on, I was asked a few questions like "Been anywhere interesting tonight?" Well I hadn't. The previous hashpoint (nettles and thistles) was decidedly dull. "And where are you heading?" I was heading for the coast. I didn't fancy explaining geohashing at nearly midnight. All the paperwork was in order so the police didn't follow up my rather vague answers. | ||
