About Me

Well, I'm a 21 years old male student, writing Abitur (maths & physics) this year. But with too much spare time :D who has finished school and now has way too much spare time studying computer science at TU München (University of Technology, Munich), having some spare time. Thanks to Geohashing I'm not spending all of it in front of my computer. :)

I live in München, Germany, graticule (48, 11). Due to München's rather southern position within it's graticule, I'm trying to reach locations within the graticule (47, 11) aswell. Available transportation vehicles are bike, public transportation and my feet, only rarely a car (actually only once so far). I'm more often than not joined by The_T-Man, his girlfriend Scherzkeks and most recently her neighbor Locationmaster.

• 2012-03-28 48 11 On Lessingstr. in Karlsfeld N of München. After a bike ride of about 23 km it met The_T-Man there.
• 2012-03-21 48 11 In Forstenrieder Park, just S of München. Met The_T-Man at the spot.
• 2012-03-17 47 11 Took public transport together with Scherzkeks, The_T-Man, Locationmaster (on his first geohash) and two parents as drag-alongs to the Ammersee lake during the beginning of spring. Hashpoint was located in a nice broad-leaved forest.
• 2012-03-14 48 11 Pi(e)-day geohash with The_T-Man and Scherzkeks in Bergkirchen NW of München. Great sunset!
• 2011-02-06 48 11 Went to a hashpoint in a forest SW of München with The_T-Man and Scherzkeks. Awesome weather!
• 2010-09-06 48 11 On the grave of Mr and Mrs Adam, in a woodland cemetery near Solln S of München.
• 2010-07-01 48 11 Tried to collect as many achievements as possible with The_T-Man. Point was about 3/4 of a kilometer from my place. Unfortunately not that well documented and we'll probably redo the achievements.
• 2010-06-23 48 11 On a corn field, 250m from the suburban train station Hohenbrunn. Went there with The_T-Man.
• 2010-06-10 48 11 On a corn field, North of Point, reached it together with The_T-Man.
• 2010-05-24 48 11 South of Erding, on a field, joined by The_T-Man.
• 2010-05-21 48 11 In a forest alongside the Isar river, south of Grünwald near München, "celebrated" Geohashing Day.
• 2010-04-11 48 11 On a field approx. 2km North of Unterschleißheim, near München, Germany.
• 2010-04-10 48 11 In the garden of a detached house in München. The_T-Man and me went there and obtained permission to access the garden.
• 2010-03-27 48 11 The hashpoint was located on a meadow near Geisenbrunn, about 10 or 20 metres away from the S8 railroad tracks. The_T-Man and myself went there by bike.
• 2010-03-21 48 11 A few hundred meters from S-Bahn-Station Furth (S3) near a roundabout in front of Sportschule Oberhaching, just South of München, where The_T-Man, Scherzkeks, zb, Mar and myself met.
• 2010-03-17 48 11 In München's Arabellapark. Went there with The_T-Man and Scherzkeks by bike, unfortunately failed. But met Robert near the hashpoint.
• 2010-03-13 47 11 My First Geohash ever, together with The_T-Man.
