About Me

Currently living in and working near Düsseldorf, Germany. As a long time xkcd reader, I always wanted to start geohashing, which I finally did in 2012. Since then, I try to monitor the graticules close to my (current) location and go on a trip in case it fits in my schedule and mobility. Unfortunately, it turns out that I'm not as active as I want to be. In case you plan going on a trip in a graticule close to mine, please drop me a note and I'd be happy to join.

pah earned the xkcd Nullaturion achievement by attending 1 Saturday meetup.

pah achieved level 2 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement by visiting coordinates in Bremen, Germany and 2 of the surrounding graticules.

pah earned the 2016 Geohashing Day achievement by wading through thorny bushes in the (23, -82) graticule on May 21st 2016.

pah earned the Virgin graticule honorable mention by being the first to try any hashpoint in the (23,-82) graticule, aiming for the (23, -82) geohash on 2016-05-21.

pah earned the Globetrotter honorable mention by going on an expedition on their 2nd continent in the (23, -82) geohash on 2016-05-21.
