* [[2008-06-14 41 -88 | 2008-06-14]]: The location is pretty much at the eastern edge of the graticule, near I-88, right next to what appears to be a Shell gas station. I ([[User:Paradox7|Paradox7]]) plan to be there at 4pm (especially since it's the first geohash that's been within my reach!) for the meetup, anyone else coming?

The 41,-88 graticule, named for the city of Aurora, contains much of the western suburbs near Chicago as well as a large area of rural farmland outside Chicagoland. Some of the larger cities in Illinois are within the graticule including Aurora, Naperville, and Joliet.

In accordance with the Main Page and geohashing tradition, the official meetups of the 41,-88 graticule are Saturdays at 4pm Central time. This is not a requirement, but is the best chance to meet other geohashers.
