Travelling between the two hashpoints, I passed a police car which then followed me. I made sure I stuck to the speed limits but a couple of minutes later, I was pulled over. It turned out that I had lost a break light and also a dipped headlight. In many countries, this would result in a fine but I just got a warning. Luckily I was insured and taxed so there was no serious problem. While the vehicle check was going on, I was asked a few questions like "Been anywhere interesting tonight?" Well I hadn't. The previous hashpoint (nettles and thistles) was decidedly dull. "And where are you heading?" I was heading for the coast. I didn't fancy explaining geohashing at nearly midnight. All the paperwork was in order so the police didn't follow up my rather vague answers.

With my meds putting me into a light headed daze, I now notice that there is no actual expedition report so here it comes. I parked in the same spot that I used for [[2015-08-09 52 0]]. There was a short walk along the tarmac lane and then a right turn into the field entrance, now heading up hill. This was a stubble field, not yet re-cultivated so it was easy to zero the distance. Plans

Expedition two of two spanning midnight - 2015-09-20 52 0 - 2015-09-21 52 0 - ETA 00:00.

Expedition

This is less than 400 metres west of 2015-08-09 52 0.

Travelling between the two hashpoints, I passed a police car which then followed me. I made sure I stuck to the speed limits but a couple of minutes later, I was pulled over. It turned out that I had lost a brake light and also a dipped headlight.

I parked in the same spot that I used for 2015-08-09 52 0. There was a short walk along the tarmac lane and then a right turn into the field entrance, now heading up hill. This was a stubble field, not yet re-cultivated so it was easy to zero the distance. The 2015-08-09 52 0 expedition had stupendous views but there were none today because the whole walk was in the valley.
