About Me

I am a Mac geek (former Apple employee (twice)) and current Apple Certified Trainer/Consultant/Technician) living near Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

I know I'm late to the geohashing game, but I dig it a lot.

My house is less than two miles South/Southwest from the 43, -88 graticule, but I'm originally from Naperville, IL so the 42, -88 suits me just fine.

Geohashing 101 Geocache

I created a Geohashing 101 Geocache cache to introduce my local geocachers to geohashing and these pages contains all the info.

Notable Accomplishments

On August 22nd, 2011 (my second expedition) I managed to hit a five stop multihash on my way from Milwaukee to Minneapolis.

From June 16th to June 18th, 2012, I hit geohashes on three days in a row in three different graticules and in three different states.

On July 16th, 2012, I was the first person to visit a hash in Las Vegas, NV while in town to play in the World Series of Poker.

On September 23rd, 2012, I reached a hash in 42,-89 completing the Minesweeper Geohash and Déjà Vu achievements.
