Just for fun, I decided to make a little gallery of as many ways as possible that we geohashers are reaching our geohashes. Finding a completely novel way to reach a geohash just so you can post it on this page is encouraged.

land

Danatar took the train from Heidelberg to Vogelweh.
Geohashers can reach many places by bus.
Inner-city hashpoints can also be reached by tram.
Robyn navigated oil well roads in the bush on a terrible mountain bike.
lyx loves Oslo's public bicycles.
If half your bike is missing, you can still use it as a unicycle.
Arvid has logged ~~hundreds~~ thousands of geohashing kilometres on a recumbent bicycle.
The Bike-Train combination from Felix Dance's 2009-05-26 -37 145 failed expedition.
ilpadre walked 11 km to here.
When the spot is on top of a mountain, you need to climb up.
Erica bagged the youngest geohasher award by arranging to be pushed to the site in a stroller.
Ekorren rode a horse to the geohash.
Another way to get to the spot with someone else's help is to hitchhike.
relet has reached a geohash on his longboard.
Lots of geohashers ride motorcycles.
Cars are quite popular for hashing. (aperfectring)
This is Carlos, a carsharing car, who accompanied relet on several expeditions.
Using an ambulance usually doesn't get you to the hashpoint and even on the return trip you should try to avoid needing one.

air

EvilTaylor bagged the Airhash achievement in a single-engine airplane.
Robyn has attended a few using a twin-engine airplane.
When the hashpoint is really far away, an airliner might be needed to reach it.
Robyn & Wade chartered a helicopter for a globalhash.
dawidi reaches his hashes by proxy using a model paraplane.

water

Jack brought others to a hash in a sailboat.
Coastal geohashers sometimes need to take a ferry.
Foot ferries are the smaller version, for pedestrians and bikers only.
Inflatable rubber boats have provided access to at least two geohashes.
Thepiguy completed this gruelling geohash in a kayak.
On quieter waterbodies, a rowing boat might be used.
A group of 9 geohashers took pedal boats to get to a water hash.
Robyn, Rhonda and Wade took a water taxi to an island geohash.
During an exhausting expedition, it's convenient to let somebody else do the work to push you along in a punt.
Robyn & Wade built a makeshift raft on which to attempt a Pirate waterhash.
Taner swam to the 2011-07-03 -38 144 geohash.
When the hashpoint is a bit deeper in the water, geohashers hold their breaths and dive down to it.
And when it's a lot deeper, they just use SCUBA gear.

ice and snow

the ru gets around wintry Sweden on skis.
Vswe used a kicksled to reach 2010-12-28 64 20
Crox almost reached 2011-01-04 46 7 using a chairlift.
PekkaR used snow shoes to walk to a hashpoint.
The especially daring Tilley walked on a frozen lake, only protected by a safety rope, to reach a globalhash.
