Someone said to me the other day 'You do that stupid hashing thing?' I had to explain that no, I didn't, I was a geoCACHER. Then I thought, hey, what's to stop me, so here I am.

Geohashing in the Adelaide graticules and on the irc channel for almost a week now. Some day I'll get around to making my userpage as fancy as relet's, until then, meh.

Minesweeper Progress

UnwiseOwl achieved level 3 of the Minesweeper Geohash achievement by visiting coordinates in Mannum, Australia and 3 of the surrounding graticules.

Reverse Regional Progress

Since I am never going to get my states regional hash, I'm collecting local council areas for the Reverse regional. I've got a few to go.

In the Adelaide South graticule I have successfully hashed in the local council areas of: Mt Barker, Alexandrina, Onkaparinga, Marion, Holdfast Bay (info is forthcoming) and Mitcham, this leaves Victor Harbour and Yankalilla to go for a successful reverse regional.

Oh, and since a boy can dream...

In the Adelaide North graticule I have hashed in the local council areas of: Pt. Adelaide/Enfield, Clare and Gilbert Valleys, Adelaide Hills, Playford, and Charles Sturt, which only leaves the Mid Murray, Mt. Barker, Barossa Valley, Light, Goyder, Wakefield, Barunga, Yorke Peninsula, Mallala, Holdfast Bay, Mitcham, Marion, West Torrens, Unley, Burnside, Adelaide, Prospect, Walkerville, Norwood, Payneham & St. Peters, Campbelltown, Tea Tree Gully, Salisbury and Gawler councils to go!
