About Me

I live in Heidelberg, Germany and will visit hashpoints reachable by bike or foot (I like running long distances) and sometimes those reachable by train. I don't own a GPS yet.

Achievements to Get

It's always nice to win an achievement along with a successful expedition. For me, some are more desirable than others.

• Walk to as many hashpoints as possible and beat the current distance record.
• Get naked at a hashpoint (also earning me the Calendar Girl Achievement).
• Send more hashcards.
• Collect cherries (current cherry count: 1).
• Receive media attention.
• Every geohasher's wet dream: The Globalhash.

Things to Do at Hashpoints

• Combine geohashing with guerilla gardening.
• Revisit old hashpoints and document how the place changed (the above point makes revisiting particularly interesting).
• Clean up the hashpoint area.
• Leave a hashtag.
• Leave a hashmark big and durable enough that it can be seen from space. Then wait for the next Google Earth imagery update.
